Kochi: : Police took into custody father of the minor heard shouting communally-charged slogans at Popular Front rally held recently in Alappuzha.
Police reached the boy’s house in Kochi’s Palluruthi to nab their man. Popular Front workers in the region raised protest in the incident. 18 others were arrestedin connection with the case yesterday.
Case : In a rally taken out by Popular Front in Alappuzha, a little boy perched on a man’s shoulder sloganeered death threats targeting sections of other community. “Buy rice, malar(puffed rice) and keep at home. Buy camphor too. Your demons of death are coming, coming...”, the boy was heard shouting on frontlines of the march.
