Alappuzha : Police have booked case against Popular Front workers for a prompting child to shout hate slogans. In the incident, a visual viraling on social media showed a child shouting slogans perched on a party worker’s shoulder during a Popular Front rally in the district..
“Buy rice, malar(puffed rice) and keep at home. Buy camphor as well. Your demons of death are coming, coming...” .. the child is heard shouting on top of his vocie.
The slogan, implying death rituals rings open threat to people belonging to other religions and police dug deeper into the incident.
