Thiruvananthapuram : Congress leader K Muraleedharan clarified he will not contest Lok Sabha elections this time, adding that he had a few things to say once the Puthupaly by-election is over. Muraleedharan further said he will keep away from public scene with regard to construction of K Karunakaran memorial.
These remarks following Ramesh Chennithala’s outburst are indicative of infighting worsening inside Congress . Muraleedharan’s comment that he would speak a few things after byelection was in response to media question on Chennithala becoming invitee to AICC.
Meanwhile speculation is rife that all gimmick is about Muraleedhran wishing to skip Lok Sabha elections and contest for Assembly polls instead.
