Kochi : Renowned ophthalmologist Tony Fernandez came out in support of the government and its health minister KK Shailaja for their impressive strides in combatiing Covid-19. Fernandez's note on FB urged people to stand by them help ongoing endevaours.
"As during the Nipha times, the Health Minister and her department have responded remarkably to the current situation. And their efforts have caught praise worldwide. At a time like this, it is embarrassing for us to have the Opposition politicize the issue. Malayalis all over the world are proud of her sincere efforts. Let us keep good sense the Opposition apparently lacks. Let’s all stand united, putting aside political differences", urged Fernandez in his FB post.
