Thiruvananthapuram : The Indian Meteorological Dept(IMD) issued Red Alert for seven districts in Kerala, in the wake of non-stop heavy rains. Districts on Red Alert include Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the revised status, it’s Orange Alert for Thrissur and Malappuram districts and Yellow alert for other districts. Twelve districts would go under Red Alert the day after tomorrow. Rains will be heaviest in central and south regions of Kerala, the IMD informed.
