Pathanamthitta : Owing to heavy rains across Pathanamthitta district, pilgrims are prohibited from entering Pamba and Sabarimala. The district administration urged for devotees to cooperative with the instruction.
The Collector’s order comes from safety concerns for devotees given that, river Pamba has risen and so has Pamba dam following release of water from Kakki dam and severe rains.
The Collector assured allotment of the earliest darshan time-slot for those who might have booked by virtual queue.
