Thiruvananthapuram : Heavy rains accompanied by thunder and lightning has been predicted for next five days in Kerala. Depression formed from north Karnataka up to Kanyakumari remains in effect, the MeT dept informed.
Heavy showers are forecast in the day across districts. Rains ranging 64.5 - 115 mm are expected in the next 24 hours.
Kollam has been put on Yellow Alert. Intense downpours are predicted for hillside regions in Kasaragod and Wayanad. Rains could be accompanied by high winds, said Met authorities.
