Kochi : Business tycoon Yusuf Ali visited homes of people who helped with rescue when the private helicopter he, wife and staff were flying in crash-landed in a swampy field in April of this year in Kochi.
Yusuf first visited Rajesh and wife Biji at their home. The couple were first to arrive at the accident spot, help haul the trapped passengers out and also provide first aid and inform the police. At the time, were 7 persons onboard including Yusuf Ali, his wife and 5 other staff members.
Yusuf spent about 20 minutes at the house and thanked the couple profusely before handing them few gifts. Later, accompanied by the couple, Yusuf Ali also visited crash spot and met with the property owner Peter at his family home where he spent about an hour.
On 13 April, Yusuf Ali was on his way to Lakeshore hospital to visit a relative admitted there, when the mishap took place.
