The Accdent
KSRTC Volvo which took off from Bengaluru last evening was headed for for Ernakulam, when a container lorry loaded with tiles rammed into it, early this morning 3 am at Combatore’s Avanashi. 20 people have died in the incident and several sustained injured, some of them serious. According to preliminary findings, a sudden bursting of the truck tyre reportedly led to the crash.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has asked the Transport Minister and KSRTC MD for for a comprehensive report on the crash.
