Kochi : The war of words within Congress has escalated with MP Hibi Eden coming out openly against mayor Soumini Jain on Facebook. The post reads "This is Congress sister..9 years wont suffice for ex-SFI member to learn Congress history and culture."
Taking the taunt further, Eden said "Fascism works in SFI not Congress."
The slamming is largely viewed as tug-of-war for the Mayor's seat in Ernakulam.
Women councilors backing UDF had informed leadership earlier that, Soumini resigning from mayorship would mean mass resignations from councilor posts, on their part.
The move upset Eden group and sources hint that, the laterst FB post reflects the setback.
