Kochi : In the ruling scheduled for the day, the High Court rejected anticipatory bail plea of “Marunadan Malayali” editor Shajan Scaria who has been booked under Prevention of Atrocities to Scheduled Caste and the IPC, based on complaint lodged by PV Srinijin MLA, over personal humiliation using fake news.
Shajan went into hiding soon after the case registered and had approached High Court discreetly for an anticipatory bail. The ED too is on lookout for Shajan in their own case against him.
