Kozhikode : Kozhikode : The state expansion of national highways would be fully completed by 2025, said Minister Mohamed Riyas.
Speaking with media after personally overseeing the work progresses, the minister said, 10 percent works are completed of the 1st reach, namely Alappuzha - Chenkall highway. The Kasaragod town flyover will be laid open to traffic by end of 2023. Works are ongoing at fast pace along the district’s second reach of Chenkalam - Taliparambu highway, the minister said.
The minister was touring highway works along Manjeswaram -Talapadi to Kasaragod. Accompanying the minister were : Rajmohan Unnithan MP and MLAs CHKunjabu, NA Nellikunn, PKM Ashraf, CPI(M) District Secretary MP Balkrishnan and Collector Bandai Swagath. Rnveerpan. National Highway Authority regional officer BL Meena received the touring legislators. Also in attendance were NHAI(Kannur) Director Punil Kumar and other officials.
