Kannur : Amrita Vidyalaya suspended the teacher accused of secretly housing murder culprit in her vacant house.
The teacher, P. Reshama, had been arrested after police nabbed slain CPI(M) worker Haridas’s assailant, Nijildas, from a vacant house she owned in a lonely stretch in Pinarayi’s Pandyalamukkal.
Police are convinced Reshma had full knowledge of Nijildas’s murderous deed. She reached him food and other essentials under cover of darkness during night. Although Reshma claimed she had let him the house on daily rent basis of Rs 1500, all proofs indicate otherwise.
