Kasaragod :Efforts to create distrust and destroy the cooperative sector will not work in Kerala, no matter how high-runged those with such fantasies might be, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, during his visit of Bedakuka Farmers Service Co-op Bank in Kundamkuzhy. The State Government guarantees safety for every naya paisa deposited in the co-operative sector, assured CM.
Certain individuals have emerged with devious intentions. There are always some who consistently oppose all good efforts. Is it however fair to consider the whole cooperative sector as dubious, based on propaganda of these individuals ?, asked CM.
It is true there have had been a few vermin. The government has taken strict action against these corrupt persons. The ring leaders have been arrested and dealt with stringent legal action. These are rare incidents one sees in any field of work including the commercial banks. But does that mean all commercial banks are distressful? Strange things are happening. With aim to destroy Kerala, Certain lobbies are targeting the cooperative sector that’s integral to the development and growth of Kerala.
These are people creating smokescreen in the name of investigation. At some places inspections are being carried well into midnight. The aim is to create disdain and distrust of the cooperative sector. It’s continuity of efforts in the past to destroy the Kerala's cooperative sector, said CM.
