In 2021, while contesting Assembly seat , he had met with RSS leader seeking RSS votes. Let him proceed with legal steps if the said photo be fake, said RV Babu.
Context : VD Satheesan is accused of having had vote-related friendship with the RSS. Both in 2001 and 2006, he had approached RSS leaders in secret, urging them for vote charity. On his part, Satheesan denied such links and said the picture of him lamp-lighting before Golwalkar’s portrait was fake creation.
