Thiruvananthapuram : Police in Karakonam ruled death of 51-year-old Thresapuram native ,Shakakumari, as murder. Her 28-year-old husband, Arun - a Balaramapuram native - has confessed to the crime.
The crime took place today. The couple had married two months back. Arun reached Shakha to Karakonam Medical College early this morning. She had suffered electric shock accidentally, he told the doctors. However, the medical examiners were suspicious of the version and alerted the police who took him into custody.
