IAF Helicopter Crash: Lone Survivor Varun Singh Passes Away

Bengaluru : The lone survivor of IAF helicopter crash on 8 December, Group Captain Varun Singh, has died. The end came at Air Force Command hospital early this morning, said IAF in its tweet.

Helicopter crash at Conoor, between Coimbatore and Wellington in Tamil Nadu last Wednesday, took the lives of country’s highest defence official CDS General Bipin Rawat and 13 others. Only GC Varun Singh was fetched out alive and survived for medical attention. He was initially admitted to Military Hospital in Wellington and later moved to Command Hospital in Bengalur.
