If League and Jamaat-e-Islami Be Criticised, CPI(M) Will Cease To Exist, Brags Madhyamam

Kozhikode : CPI(M) could cease to exist if it criticised  Muslim League and Jamaat-e-Islami, brags Madhyamam daily in its article. The sentiment stems from its intolerance of CPI(M) and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan slamming communal-terror ties. In the Thursday  editorial headlined “CPI(M) and Muslim Political Safeguards(സിപിഐ എമ്മും മുസ്ലിം രാഷ്‌ട്രീയ കർതൃത്വങ്ങളും)”, Jamaat-e-Islami in a self-styled warning, threatens it will  annihilate CPI(M).

Criticism of ties  between Jamaat-e-Islami and Muslim League is distorted and described as CPI(M) resentment  for the Muslim community. If terror outfits are spoken of as terrorism and communal outfits as communal fanatics, CPI(M) will cease to exist beyond another one or two elections, says the so-called warning.

For indicating  the communal thread behind Jamaat-e-Islami’s interventions in K-Rail and Waqf Board issue, the party seeks to portray CPI(M) as an anti-Muslim  organisation.
