New Delhi : Covid surges countrywide are raising concerns anew for authorities who are mulling to bring back forsaken restrictions once more.
2483 new infections were recorded in the past 24 hours. With this, active case tally in the country touched 15,636. Delhi reported 1011 more cases yesterday. The capital is recording numbers above 1000 daily for some time now.
A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet tomorrow to take stock of Covid situation in the country. The meeting will among other things evaluate Covid tally and vaccination status of all states.
