Damascus : At least 11 have been killed by Islamic State(IS) group in Syria, that’s still reeling from monster earthquake. The IS group attacked about 75 people on Saturday while collecting truffles in Almyria countryside of Horns, said Human Rights sources.
Of the 11 killed, 10 are reportedly civilians, including a woman and member of the (Syrian) regime forces. Ten others were injured, some of who are critical.
After Jihadists lost last footing of territory in the military onslaught backed by US-led coalition in March of 2019, splintered groups retreated into desert hideouts in the country’s east from where, they carry out such ambushes, mostly on Kurdish-led forces and Syrian govt troops
