Thiruvnaanthapuram: The latest in Malayala Manorama hoax series crumbles after government dismissed the newspaper’s claim that crew attending Chief Minister’s social media accounts were about to attain permanency status for their jobs.
Malayala Manorama’s front-page main but fake story claims moves ae on to render permanency to 10 of the social media team crew appointed 2 months after the govt took office beside 30 others from the inner circle.
In the hoax, Manorama completely ignores the fact that the said social media team has not completed even 5 years and thee truth is neither such move nor any file on the topic.
The cabinet had, a few days ago, decided to regularize employment of those working at C-DIT on contractual basis for over 10 years. The decision abides by all rules and the law. There is no PSC list pending for C-DIT currently. However it is Manorama’s claim that the regularizations are being made with PSC remaining a passive spectator. The government clarification came following this fake propaganda.
