Idukki : A tribal youth was stabbed to death by KAAPA accused in Idukki’s Korangatti in Adimali. The deceased was identified as Sajan(49).
The incident took place Thursday around 10:30 am. Sajan lived alone. The suspect, Kolliyathi Syriac(37) aka Aneesh, kicked open the house door and stabbed Sajan multiple times. Sajan died at the scene. Aneesh went into hiding and was caught by police at night in the area.
Aneesh was released from j jail three months back. There is a young woman and child living with Aneesh. According to him, Sajan bothered them while he was in jail and the murder was in revenge for that.
Police are not entirely sure of the love triangle story offered by Aneesh and have begun investigations to confirm what led to the murder.
