Kalamassery: Close on heels of WhatsApp message by a nursing officer cum Congress union leader, a controversial woman writer has now jumped on bandwagon to set Kalamassery Medical College under shadow of suspicion in public eyes. Incidentally, the lady writer now on her new mission, had appeared on Manorama channel a few months back, flaunting fake images to establish that the hospital’s covid patients did not even receive food to eat. Following opposition to the fake news, Manorama withdrew the item with due apologies.
Dr. Najma, a former KSU leader and doctor at the hospital, is the new propaganda candidate claiming there exists large-scale treatment lapses at Kalamassery Medical College. The junior doctor claims that death of a patient, Harris, occurred owing to dislocation of his face-mask tube to the ventilator. Interestingly, she admits the claim is a hearsay matter since she was off-duty at the time.
Earlier, the nursing officer back from her long leave, had posted an audio clip on WhatsApp with similar accusation. Incidentally, both women are resorting to a propaganda campaign, in breach of their respective line of authority.
What television channels lobbying for private hospitals and pro-UDF employees aim to do is - berate the Medical College that earned world recognition for its outstanding record in covid treatment.
