Karipur: A young woman was nabbed at Karipur airport with gold worth Rs 1 crore. Caught in the act of smuggling is : 19-year-old Shahala - a Kasaragod native from Pathanpur.
Shahala had concealed gold in three sachets inside her clothing. She arrived at the airport on flight from Dubai. The contraband is worth at least Rs 1 crore in domestic market.
