Kerala Can't Be Allowed To Become Land of Riots: MV Govindan

Web Desk(Tvm)Updated: Saturday Mar 18, 2023

Thiruvananthapuram : The Opposition is trying to turn Kerala into  land of riots; that will not be yielded for, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. It is attempt to shroud divisions inside UDF,  The good work out there  by the second Pinarayi government is causing UDF and BJP to act in insane manner.

What we now see is their frenzy about having  to sit in the Opposition the next time too. Picketing Speaker, disrupting government mechanisms, and attacking police are all proof of such anxiety. Sudhakaran’s remarks on Chief Minister is not suited to a civilised society. It’s like attempt to cover the sun with a  waste winnower.

The Union Ministry of Rural Development has released information that Kerala increased work days despite massive cut of Central allocation for Employment Guarantee Scheme. It is glimpse to what Kerala’s counter policy is about. Kerala increased employment days even as BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, and Congress-ruled Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh reduced them, said MV Govindan, speaking at press conference during People’s Resistance Rally(Janakeeya Prathirodha Jatha) .

Present at the press meet were Jatha Manager PK Biju, and Jatha members M Swaraj, CS Sujatha, CPI(M) District Secretary V Joy and MP A.A Rahim.
