Thiruvananthapuram : Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wrote to Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan urging supply of 50 lakh vaccine doses on priority basis. The supply is crucial for uninterrupted inoculations being carried out around the state amid rising pandemic, CM said in the letter, pointing out how the present stock would be able to meet vaccination appointments for just another three days.
The Health Ministry was notified of fast diminishing supplies, however there has been no response forthcoming, the letter said further.
