Thiruvananthapuram : The state recorded 543 fresh Covid-19 cases today taking the total confirmed cases so far in the pandemic to 64,68,141. There were 872 recoveries during the day climbing the total tally for recoveries up to 64.57,300.
Hospitalisation : There currently are a total of 4389 active covid cases, of which only 10%, owing to need for added care, are being treated at hospitals.
Testing : 17,804 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Deaths : There were no covid deaths confirmed during the day, however 79 fatalities were reported by SC ruling appeal count, taking the death toll so far to 67,631.

Contact cases: There were 507 contact cases today of which source of infection to 27 were unknown.

Quarantine: A total of 15,298 people are under observation currently of whom, 14,88 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 460 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 88 people were newly admitted into hospitals during the day.
