Thiruvananthapuram : Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday announced minor relaxations to current Covid restrictions. In view of Bakri-Ed, shops in triple-lockdown may open on Monday but in conformation with regular Covid protocols, said CM at media briefing in the capital.
Other changes:
Electronics, repair and home appliances shops in A and B category areas, may remain open from Monday to Friday between morning 7 am to 8 at night
Places of worship may allow up to 40 persons on special days. Those responsible must keep watch so only people who have received at least one dose of the vaccine gain entry at these places, said CM.
In areas falling under A and B categories, beauty parlours and barber shops may open but only with staff who have received at least one dose of vaccine.
Film shooting may be carried out in A and B category areas in adherence with strict Covid protocols. Also it should be ensured that only persons vaccinated with minimum one dose gain entry to these places, said CM.
