The new infections today include 88 cases pertaining to travelers from states outside and 45 health workers. The testing positivity rate today figured at 9.87 %.
UK Returnees: 3 travelers who arrived from UK were diagnosed with Covid-19 in past 24 hours. Total covid caseload pertaining to incomers from that country now figures at 74.
Deaths : There were 19 covid deaths confirmed during the day taking the death toll so far to 3682.

Quarantine: A total of 2,14,935 people are under observation currently of whom, 11,809 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 2,03,126 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 1601 people were newly admitted into hospitals during today for observation purposes. Presently 72,392 people remain under treatment in various hospitals across the state.
Hotspots: There were 6 new hotspots declared today, while 8 areas were taken off the list. Total hotspots currently in the state : 404.
