There are serious lapses in the Supreme Court judgment that annuls appointment of Vice Chancellor in technical University, says former Lok Sabha Secretary General PDT Achari.
In his article in Deshabhimani, Achari writes the judgment applies to just Vice Chancellors of technical universities. Nowhere does the document mention that the judgment applies to VCs across all universities. Besides, it is common principle of law that the verdict given in case of one individual holds good for just that person, points out Achari, adding that, then what is the basis used for asking other Vice Chancellor to resign.
