Kozhikode : For financial dubiousness detected in Plus-2 bribery and tax evasion cases, the Enforcement Directorate(ED) continued grilling Muslim League MLA, KM Shaji, for the second day in a session lasting over 14 hours. On Wednesday, the questioning that began morning stretched into late night.
The MLA had reportedly expected to be let off after a day of questioning like his wife. However, the ED sleuths bombarded him with questions beginning 10.30 am morning right up to 12 am midnight yesterday, with the only respite having been intervals for food.
ED is looking to find fund sources to properties worth crores the MLA has amassed, while there appears no legitimate means to set the enormous numbers right.
