Kottayam : Domestic violence in a house in Kottayam takes gruesome turn when the man hacks his wife’s leaving her fingers nearly severed. The incident took place in Kannakaram in Ettumanoor.
The victim Manju(41) has been admitted into Kottayam Medical College. The couple’s daughter who came to mother’s rescue was also attacked. According to neighbours, it was routine for the victim’s husband Pradeep to come home drunk and cause fight. Pradeep fled the scene soon after the incident and remains in hiding, said police.
