Kozhikjode : At last, KSRTC-KTDFC complex in Kozhikode gets a new lease of life. The tender for operations was taken up by ALIF Builders. The company assured setting up all facilities and conveniences travelers in transit would possibly look for. The move, set to rejuvenate the entire district, was initiated by Minister Muhammad Riyas, Minister Antony Raju and MLA Thottathil Raveendran.
The decision to build KSRTC complex in Kozhikode was taken in 2007. All works were complete in 2016 and the complex was dedicated for the people. However, though tenders for operations were floated in 2015, no one became willing to take the bid.
After the new government came to power, Minister Muhammad Riyas discussed the matter with Minister Antony Raju. MLA Thottathil Raveendran too pointed out the problem and spoke with Minister Riyas, who assured a remedy soon. The development will now breathe life into the district as a whole.
The MoU will be signed on 26 August and complex will become functional the same day, said Minister Riyas.
