Kottayam : KSRTC Superfast bound from Thiruvananthapuram to Mattupetti skid sideways in Ettumannur in pre-dawn hours on Tuesday. The accident took place 2.30 am. The bus had 46 passengers onboard, nearly all of who were asleep owing to which most sustained injuries in the skid accident.
Police and rescue personnel retrieved passengers from the bus, moving them to hospital for treatment. The bus veered out of control, the exact reason will be found after investigation into the incident, said police.
