KSU Leader Booked For Rape Of Party Coworker

Thiruvananthapuram : KSU leader at Law Academy in Thiruvananthapuram has been booked for rape of his woman coworker in the party. Arrested in the case is office bearer of KSU unit at the college, Aashik Mohammed, based on police complaint lodged by victim, who is a KSU activist in campus.

Aashik Mohammed is a Manar native. It was Aashik that gave the victim KSU membership and made her part of its committee. The girl said she has visited Aashik’s house in Vazhayila as part of convening KSU protest meetings  and dharnas.

Then one day,  Aashik faked a KSU meeting at his place and up on arrival he  overpowered her, tore the dress she had worn and raped her, the victim said in her complaint. After the incident, Aashik blackmailed her saying there were visuals of the rape, thus forcing her to submit to rape on several occasions up to  16 September, the complaint read.

According to the victim, Aashik also blackmailed her  into handing him her gold jewelry,. Aashik threatened to kill her family, if she dared to complain to police, the victim said. The police registered their case and took the victim to Medical College for medical examination.
