Kaladi ; Roji M John MLA storms Kaladi police station akin goonda style, attempting to forcibly fetch KSU youths out after being locked up for ragging a college girl. Joined in his hooligan attempt to take away the boys were Benny Behanan MP and Saneesh Joseph. Following threats the leaders made, the cops on duty opened the cell, however they refused to let the accused walk out of police station.
The boys were taken into custody in the incident that played out at Sree Sankara College in Kaladi. The girl in question had complained about KSU workers who constantly harassed her. She wasn’t allowed to enter the class and her friend from SFI who questioned the situation were beaten up at college by KSU workers. When police arrived at the campus and tried to take the KSU workers o the police station, a gang of youths, presently in custody, tried to block the cops and stirred up a conflict.
The girl lodged a complaint of ragging with the college principal. The SFI worker also filed a complaint on the assault he was subject to. Post the college incident, the KSU youths put on a ruckus at the hospital where the SFI worker was undergoing treatment.
