Thiruvananthapuram: Replete with pro-people measures, the Left Democratic Front released its election manifesto Friday. A total 50 programs are enlisted in the first part of the manifesto, followed by 900 guidelines toward implementation of the listed items.

7) Value-added businesses

11) Poverty eradication program to be strengthened

Farmers will have their income rise by 50 percent. Advances in science and technology will be used to achieve this goal. 14) Preserving traditional industries

15) Sea for children of the sea

16) Coastal Development Package.

17) Schedule Caste Welfare

21) Welfare of the elderly
An extensive survey will be conducted to assess elderly population in state. Doorstep services would be provided. Clubs for the elderly will be set up in all wards.
