THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : In solidarity with nationwide protests against the new law dividing people, LDF will get thousands of protesters to hold hands and create a human chain across the state on the Republic Day, 26 Jan,The link will extend between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod.
The chain , comprising LDF workers and leaders will also take in all anti-Citizenship law protesters, irrespective of their political leaning, the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said. All those opposing BJP’s government’s evil laws focused are welcome to participate, he said.
The Left will carry out massive publicity campaigns on the a human chain protest. Rallies will be held in all district centres for its propaganda.
On Monday Pinarayi had led an all-party satyagraha at Martyrs in protest against the new amendment. The human chain planned for Republic Day, follows huge response to joint satyagraha against Centre’s divisive politics.
Massive rallies will be held in all 14 districts of the state Tuesday as prelude to the chain. All the same, the Left would not the call for Tuesday hartal given out by communal organisations, Pinarayi clarified.
