Kollankode: LDF retains Palathulli in Palakkad’s Kollankode block panchayat byelection after its candidate, K Prasannakumari, won by 768 votes.
The seats tally is : LDF 3631, UDF 2863 and BJP 496. The byelection was held after C. Sasikala from CPI(M) resigned on securing a job appointment.
