The Opposition provides light and water for Karsevaks of central agencies looking to sabotage state’s development, CM added.
“ LDF enjoys wide backing ranging from little children to senior citizens. When natural disasters and covid pandemic gripped the state, Kerala surged ahead as model for rest of the world. The Opposition is scared to talk about the state’s development. Neither is media willing to discuss it. . Can one compare Kerala that was five years ago and as of today.? This is why they are trying all ways to somehow keep development under wraps.
The central govt is responsible for taking up distresses that descend on people. However the agenda now is to create divides among people. That’s agenda of the RSS and BJP govt moves along that line. Moves to crush the constitution too is being worked alongside. Congress shies away from its responsibility to mitigate communalism and preserve constitutional rights. It is rather occupied pairing up with BJP in order to defeat LDF somehow.
The Union Ministers are once again trying to implement Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA). However the govt here has clarified it will not work in Kerala.
Two days ago, the Union Minister Piyush Goyal denied the incident where nuns in were attacked in train and claimed that reports on ABVP workers assaulting them amounted to empty accusation. In reality, it is right to travel freely that was infringed for the sole reason that the women were nuns and it is this kind of Sangh Parivar barbarity that the Union Minister seeks to justify.
It is Sangh Parivar that attacked four Muslim brothers during Ramadan in Delhi and killed one of them by flinging him out of the train - a sentiment that played out toward the nuns too. The union ministers’ statements are proof there is no respite for religious minorities and democratic-minded people. Is whitewashing assailants something a union minister should be doing ?
And, is the Opposition ready to protest this ? Here is an Opposition that has lost its mind and gets panicky on hearing the name RSS. If RSS be wholesale dealers of communalism, aren’t UDF the retailers?

In a reply to reporter’s query, CM said Rahul Gandhi should be opposed politically not personally.
On BJP assault on a pregnant woman at Kallyassery and attack on LDF candidate in Kothamangalam, the CM said these incidents were unfortunate and that concerned organisations should ensure they do not repeat, adding that, there would be strict action against the perpetrators.
