League Asked Ali Kutty Musliyar To Keep Away From CM’s Kerala Pariyadanam: Taped Conversation Out

Kozhikdoe  : Audio snippets of a telephone conversation shed light on Muslim League advisory on communist party events. In the recorded conversation over telephone,  the Muslim League Vice President MC Mayin Haji  admits that Samastha Kerala Jamiyyatul Ulma(EK faction) General Secretary K Ali Kutty Musliyar was instructed to not attend Chief Minister’s ‘Kerala Pariyadanam” rally.  In the voice recording, Mayin Haji is heard denying his role but affirms concerned persons in Muslim League had forbid Ali Kutty Musliyar from attending communist party events.

Also heard in the clip is Mayin Haji’s retort: “Ummar Faizi is not a big Mukham Samastha leader. He is only a member of Mushavra.”  CM is conducting rally to seek larger support for elections and it would be inappropriate for Samastha to attend the event. However I have not asked Samastha leaders for any kind of refrain, says Mayin Haji while  putting the onus on a caller from Qatar who called in Kannur.

The League ban on Samastha General Secretary relates to CM’s ‘Kerala Pariyadanam” rally organised in Malappuram on 29th December. Even so, Ali Kutty Musliyar and other Samastha leaders  attended the event. League is throwing it weight to increasingly gain control of Samastha and the audio clip pointing to  its maneuvers  comes at a time, when the organisation’s insiders are protesting its attempts.
