The report underscores discrepancies between Shaji’s testimony and Vigilance’s own findings. Also there are holes in the records submitted by Shaji to explain the amount of money officials unearthed from his residence. Shaji had submitted receipts and counterfoils pertaining to funds collected for election. To the sleuths however, these papers appear to have been fabricated.
