Kottayam : LDF retains seat in Kottayam’s Kannakari panchayat. Kerala Congress(M) candidate contested for LDF securing a lead of 216 votes. The winner is Vinita Rajes who defeated Congress(IN) candidate Geeta Sivan.
The seat fell vacant after Panchayat president Meenu Manoj secured job with the Health department.
