Thiruvananthapuram: Former IT Secretary MS Sivasankar, hospitalised yesterday after developing chest pains and uneasiness, signaled improvement in his health condition, according to hospital sources. He was admitted into the cardiac ICU of a private hospital in the city on Friday.
The bureaucrat developed discomfort and ache yesterday soon after Customs officials personally served him with summons to appear for a questioning round. The officials too reached the hospital later.
There is no cause for serious concern, the hospital said Saturday, adding that, Sivasankar will undergo a series of checks and be placed under observation in ICU for the next 24 hours.
