Madrasa Teacher Dies After Being Hit By Pickup Van in Aluva

Aluva : An elderly Madrasa teacher was killed after being struck by a pickup van at Aluva Edayappuram junction Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Moideen Ustad(60). The accident took place at dawn 4:30 am while the Ustad was on his way to mosque. He was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly after.
