Major Fire Breaks Out At Scrap Godown In Thalayolaparambu: Used Vehicles Go Up In Flames

Thalayolaparambu : Massive fire broke out at a vehicle scrap godown in Thalayolaparambu early this morning. Three persons suffered burns and have been moved to Kottayam Medical College hospital. The blaze that took place opp. the main fish market began at 9.10 am.

The three victims are handymen from Bihar - Sharavan, Raj Kumar and Abhijit - hired to dismantle junk vehicles. The fire force and police attended the scene and together doused the flames.

Welding spark close to diesel tank during dismantling of a car caused the fire.
