Pariyaram :There is marked improvement in the health condition of Kannur’s CPI(M) District Secretary, MV Jayarajan, said medical team at Kannur Govt Hospital, where the leader is undergoing treatment for Covid-induced pneumonia.
While still at ICU, both diabetes and blood pressure lhave normalised. The oxygen levels in blood too is better now and if the pace of improvement were to continue, ventilator could be put away soon, said the doctors. Jayarajan will be tested for presence of virus once again in coming days.
A Board comprising the Principal Dr. KM Kuriakose, Chairman cum Medical Superintendent Dr. K Sudeep, convener and several other senior doctors are treating Jayarajan. Dr. Anil Satyadas and Dr. SS Santhosh Kumar along with Pariyaram Medical College doctors , examined him on Thursday. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Health Minister KK Shailaja are being periodically updated on the leader’s health condition. CPI(M) State Committee member P Jayarajan, MLAs TV Rajesh and TN Shameer held discussion with the doctors.
