Kochi: Mathrubhumi Sports Editor PT Baby has passed away. He was 50. Baby was undergoing treatment at Kolenchery Medical College for stomach ailment when he breathed his last at 4:40 this evening.
PT Baby is one of Late Thomas and Rachel of Pullikkal House in Ernakulam’s Ehakaranad. Baby joined Mathrubhumi in 1996 and worked with Mathrubhumi’s Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur editions. His coverage for Mathrubhumi include London Olympics 2018, Russia World Cup Football, 2011 One day Cricket World Cup, National Games, IPL and Santhosh Trophy for Mathrubhumi.
Wife: Late Cindy. Children : Sharon and Shimon. Siblings : Late PT Chacko, Eliamma, Sarai, PT Johny and Late Amnini. Funeral on Sunday at 1 pm at St. Peter and St Paul’s Church Cemetery.
