KOLLAM : A migrant labourer from Assam was killed with slit to his throat in Kollam’s Anchal. The deceased has been identified as Abdullah and was killed by his roommate Jalal, who attempted suicide after the crime.
According to police, both men lived in a rented house and had heated arguments in the morning that escalated into violence.
After the murder, Jalal locked himself in and slashed his own throat. Police broke the door open to nab Jalal who had several injuries on his body. He remains in the hospital for medical attention.
