Thiruvananthapuram : Following rumours on social media about missing Jesna Maria james being sighted in Syria, CBI came out denying the propaganda as false.
Jesna went missing on 22 March of 20188 from Kanjirapally. The then 20-year-old, second year BCom student, was last spotted on a private transport bus from Erumeli on way to her aunt’s house in Mundakayam in Kottayam. Nobody knows what happened to her after that. The police conducted exhaustive search following up on each lead, but it seemed like Jeshna had simply vanished with trace. The case caught media spotlight for a longtime and was to CBI in 2021.
